I have never had a head for numbers, quite the contrary in fact.  This little fellow is intended to help people like me.  The knob on the left allows the user to set the digit in his head.  The knob on the right sets the height of the bar graph tube in his belly.  Neither of these functions are actually helpful at all, but if you have difficulty with numerical data like I do then you won’t know the difference anyway.
