So.  Still inches away from being able to call the scooter totally finished, but at least now we have light!  The nixie tubes required a power converter and some fiddling to get them to light up.  This week I hope to attach a little computer that Rich is building to interpret the rotating shaft of the old speedometer.  I installed a few LED’s to illuminate the fuel and temp meters as well.  These developments may be subtle, but they really make a difference to the feeling one gets sitting on the seat.  Its alive!

I’ve got two large scale figures coming along as well.  The one on the right just finally stood up on his own, and the one on the left just got motorized shoulders.
