This past weekend was Maker Faire 2007. For those who are unfamiliar, this is the second installment of a huge annual geek-fest. An estimated 40,000 people were in attendance, soaking up a mind numbing array of exhibits ranging from combat robots to hand knit purses. I was very impressed with the overall scope and openness of the event. As an artist I managed to feel at home along side many very capable scientists, engineers, hackers, performers etc. Pictured above is the view from the relative safety of my booth, which I shared with my Fairy Tech Father, CTP and some of his friends and students.
